Just accepted a teaching job in China?

In order to get a work permit in China as an English Teacher, you will need to authenticate the following documents.

  • University Degree
  • FBI CRC

Steps involved for authenticating your documents

  1. Diploma: Have your highest diploma notarized and Authenticated at the State Level. Please click here for detailed instructions.
  2. FBI CRC: obtain your FBI CRC from the FBI. Click here for detailed instructions

Once you have authenticated your diploma and obtained your FBI Criminal Record History you are now ready to send your documents to Monument Visa Service.  We will then complete the process by having your documents Authenticated by the U.S. Department of State and then Legalized by the Chinese Embassy.  Total processing time is 8 business days.  Before shipping your legalized documents back to you we will send you scans of each document.

How to submit an order

  1. Gather your documents and prepare them for shipping.  FBI Criminal Background Checks can only be uploaded to the order form if you received a digital copy from an FBI channeler or the FBI. Scans/photocopies are not accepted. If you only received a copy through the mail then we will need that copy mailed to our office
  2. Scan a high quality color of your passport. We need both the photo page of your passport as well as the signature page. Must be clear scans. If the scan isn’t legible, the Chinese Embassy will reject the authentication application.
  3. Click Here To Fill Out the China Legalization Application Form. Complete as much as you can. When in doubt, just leave blank. After filling out the form, print the form, sign at the signature area, then scan the form and upload it on the order page.
  4. Fill out the online order form by clicking the Order Now button at the bottom of this page. Please print the order form and include with your documents. You will get a copy of your order form via email once you place the order
